Created by Legions Games, 2v2.io is a fast-paced multiplayer battle royale shooter with building mechanics, where you team up or play solo, battle against other squads, and be the last one standing to win. Currently, the game offers 7 distinct modes:
1v1 Duels: The solo duel where two players spawn into a map, building, fighting, and defeating the opponent.
FFA: Fight solo. There’s no team, just survival.
2v2: A team-based mode where 2 duos build and fight together to eliminate the opposing team and win.
Battle Royale Solo: All players are dropped into a large map where everyone fights alone. Loot, build, survive, and be the last one alive.
Sandbox: Practice buildings with no combat.
The two other modes are Zone Wars and 1v1 Box.
To start, pick a mode you’d like to play in, select your loadout, and start the battle!
Depending on your selected mode, you drop in alone or with your teammate. Once spawned in, navigate around and start looting weapons and resources as quickly as you can.
Aim, position, and teamwork (in team-based combat) using your quick reflexes and precision to outsmart your opponents while avoiding incoming shots.
Place walls for cover, ramps for height advantage, and roofs for protection so you can stay safe from opponents’ attacks in 2v2 io.
The zone can shrink over time, forcing closer encounters and tactical fights. Stay sharp and play strategically to win by being the last squad alive.
